Campers will learn how to make their very own meal in a kitchen, with an emphasis on food safety, nutrition, understanding cooking elements, and how to work as a team to cook a tasty lunch each day. At the end of each week, campers will take home their own chef’s apron and cookbook of recipes, encouraging further exploration in the kitchen with family and friends.
Instructor Bio:
Mark Lozano is an Executive Chef with Sage Dining. Born in Toronto and “made in Italy,” Mark’s culinary identity reflects his Filipino heritage and the Italian culture that shaped his early years. His style celebrates authenticity and creativity, blending precise technique with heartfelt expression. While Italian cuisine remains his foundation, Mark’s versatility extends across diverse global flavours, allowing him to connect with people through food in meaningful ways.
