Do you know what is like to be software engineer?

SIGN UP FOR THIS EXCITING COURSE!

This is a bespoke engineering and design series. Designed and led by Dr. Marcelo Bacha, who completed a doctoral degree in Material Science and has worked as an amateur telescope maker and faculty in one of the largest Astronomical Observatories in Brazil, the program harnesses Dr. Bacha’s deep knowledge and decades of study and practice in the engineering field.

Engineering: Computer-Aided Design (CAD) & 3D Printing is an engineering and design series that challenges students to utilize cutting-edge software and 3D printing to design intriguing objects or a functioning machine of their very own!  Objects will be 3D printed and students will compete for ‘best of’ awards!

Throughout the workshops, students will utilize cutting-edge software to design a functioning machine of their own!


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Creativity: Interest and pleasure in exploring creative potential. Tendency to see novel solutions to problems.
  • Curiosity: Love of learning. Intellectual engagement. Enthusiasm for experiencing the world. Proclivity to develop passions and interests.
