Join our innovative, full-day F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Summer camp in both our Mississauga and Brampton locations! F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Summer Camp offers a fun, creative and supportive summer camp experience for neurodiverse children between 6 and 12 years of age.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Summer Campers will experience both outdoor activities and access to LDAPR’s air-conditioned, indoor program spaces for cooling and space to play when the weather isn’t friendly. We are also expanding our events to include field trips this year!

Each group of 3 summer campers will have their own LDAPR-trained Summer Camp Counsellor working with them. Our Summer Camp Counsellors will ensure that all camp programming is shaped specifically to meet each camper in their group exactly where they are. We understand that children with learning differences have a variety of unique needs and this camp is created especially for them!

Who is this camp for? If your child is between 6 and 12, has learning differences such as Level 1 or 2 ASD, behaviour challenges or another neurodiversity and needs that bit of extra support to participate in fun summer camp activities and develop new social skills, this camp is for them!

The focus of LDAPR’s 2025 F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Summer Camp is to provide a fun, engaging experience for your child (children) where they can feel good simply being themselves and you will feel confident that they are in a safe and fun environment!

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Self-regulation: Learning is paced to each child to reduce anxiety. Through predictable routines, positive reinforcement, and guided problem-solving, children learn to manage emotions.
  • Interpersonal skills: Through structured, supportive interactions with trained tutors and peers, children practice communication, collaboration, and asking for help in a safe, affirming environment.
