Join us for our March Break camp at BR Equestrian! We offer a fun filled week for campers, no experience is necessary. We have campers that have ridden for years, to campers who this will be their first time on a horse at camp. We offer a structured riding lesson with one of our coaches each day during the camp, as well as additional horse time; such as bareback rides, games, grooming horses etc. Kids will participate in mounted, and unmounted games and activities. We offer arts and crafts geared around the horses (example; decorating horse shoes, making bridle charms, doing interactive painting with the horses etc.). The camp is also educational and we will teach kids about stable management, parts of the horse (with interactive activities such as drawing on the horses with chalk to learn body parts), learning about tack and tack cleaning etc. 


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Courage: Horses and riding help children to face their fears and develop courage and calmness around the horses.
  • Interpersonal skills: Our camp will teach kids not only to communicate with their peers but also with large animals that don't speak the same language! Horseback riding is a team sport where children learn to communicate on many levels with their equine partners.
