Registration Details

Due to system updates, registration for new families will open February 15, 2025. Our licensed summer camp ensures a safe, fun environment meeting all childcare standards. To register, please contact the location, complete forms, submit a signed childcare contract, and provide a non-refundable deposit equal to two weeks of fees, to be applied to the last two weeks of enrollment. Monthly fees are paid via an automated system: July fees on June 1, and August fees on July 1. Withdrawal requires written notice by May 15 for July, or June 15 for August; deposits are non-refundable. Changes to enrollment are not guaranteed, two weeks’ notice is required, and approval depends on availability of space. Please see our webpage for more information.

The Our Kids review of Upper Canada Child Care Summer Camps

One of the best perks of camp is making new lifelong friendships. Upper Canada Child Care (UCCC) Summer Camps is known for the friendships it fosters, along with their weekly day trips. What can be seen as a traditional day camp, UCCC is a little more than that. Kids enjoy all of the fun activities daily, but absolutely can’t wait for the trips they get to do. Some of the best ones have included Wet N’ Wild Waterpark, Tree Top Trekking, and going to beaches and parks. Staff are very friendly and encouraging of kids being social and making many new friends. They are creative and find innovative activities for kids to do, such as woodworking and arts and crafts. Kids are well supervised and given lots of attention. The facilities are also top-notch at UCCC Summer Camps.

Director's Message

Hey there, I’m Nicole, your Camp Coordinator, and I am so pumped to kick off Summer Camp 2025 with all of you! We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a summer packed with epic activities, outdoor adventures, and a few surprises you’re going to love.

This year, we’re leveling up the fun for everyone — whether you’re a first-time camper or a total camp legend. From creative projects to games and weekly trips to places like Wet 'n' Wild Toronto and Tree Top Trekking, we’ve got everything you need to keep the vibes high and the memories rolling.

Camp is your time to make new friends, explore the outdoors, and try out some cool new stuff. If you’ve got questions or need anything, your camp lead is always here to back you up.

Thanks for choosing to hang with us this summer. We can’t wait to make Camp 2025 the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) season yet. Here's to another summer of friendship and discovery!

Staff and Counsellors

UCCC’s licensed Summer Camps operate under the supervision of certified (RECE or equivalent) camp leads trained in safety, programming, and inclusion. Our diverse staff receive annual training in program development, safety, risk assessment, and outdoor education from a team led by our Camp & Outdoor Education Coordinator (RECE, Forest School Practitioner). With the experience gained through their work in our before and after school programs, our knowledgeable staff design fun, active, interest-based programs for kids aged 4 to 12. All camp staff hold valid Vulnerable Sector Check & Standard First Aid & CPR-C. Jr Camp: 1 staff to 13 children (max group: 26 campers); Sr Camp: 1 staff to 15 children (max group: 30 campers).

Flush Toilets

More details about accommodations: Our programs lease spaces in local public schools. We are licensed child care providers and are government inspected by public health, and Ministry of Education with high standards for safety and supervision that accompany licensing. Some trip locations, such as conservation areas, do not offer flush toilets.

Are meals provided? Yes. Two snacks are provided daily, and one pizza lunch weekly is included in program fees.

Is Upper Canada Child Care Summer Camps technology free? Yes. Personal electronic devices (cell phones, iPads, video games etc.) are restricted in our programs as they can hinder social interaction, program involvement, and connections with nature. Our programs are not responsible for the loss of or damage to any valuables.
