Trix Acro Gym is a warm, welcoming, and supportive gym where students build skills, confidence, and a love of movement. Our friendly coaches focus on proper technique and skill development through structured progressions, allowing each athlete to grow at their own pace. Located at Dufferin and Steeles in North York, we have proudly served the community for over 40 years. We offer acro and gymnastics classes for ages 2–16, and camps for ages 5 and up. Camps run from 8:45 AM–4:00 PM during summer, PD days, winter break, mid-winter break, March break, Passover, and other school holidays.

Ruthy Dunec and Larry Bialogrecki put a unique spin on recreational gymnastics in day camps and after-school programs at Trix Acro Gym. Their dynamic, skills-driven programming blends gymnastics, acrobatics, and confidence-building for kids from tots to teens. It’s the product of over 30 years of teaching for Larry, coupled with Ruthy’s fresh ideas that bring out the fun in learning foundations. Their first collaboration was in 2006 with KinderBounce, still a signature program, preschoolers’ ideal introduction to gymnastics. They run, jump, roll, and climb, building strength, balance, and coordination, supervised by expert teachers. Other classes move from beginner to advanced gymnastics and acrobatics, always holistically focused on kids’ physical and emotional growth. Day camps engage kids with a mix of apparatus exploration, games, crafts, and themed activities. It’s a welcoming environment where kids grow socially and athletically, giving them confidence and a solid base for a lifelong love for physical movement.
Trix Acro Gym’s uniqueness comes from its exceptional staff and technical approach to training. Our coaches are highly experienced, supportive, and passionate about teaching, creating a warm and encouraging environment while maintaining strong technical standards. Our coaches have been developed within the Trix system, ensuring consistent philosophy and quality. Training is skills-driven, with a strong emphasis on fundamentals taught through clear progressions, hands-on spotting, drills, and specialized equipment. This structured approach helps students build strength, body awareness, and confidence, allowing athletes from many disciplines to progress safely and successfully.
