Through your child’s fun and engaging results oriented songwriting lessons with their dedicated and nurturing teacher at The Music Studio, your child will develop confidence, commitment and problem solving skills while experiencing the joy of making music.  Your child's lessons will focus on developing songwriting skills focused on the craft and sources of inspiration for writing words and music for your child's own songs.

Your child has the opportunity to take centre stage and be the star as they share their music with family and friends at The Music Studio’s monthly concerts. 

This program is also offered as an in-person option. Choose from The Music Studio’s in-person lessons, or live and interactive online lessons taught in a welcoming and professional learning environment. Please contact us today.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Resilience: Through songwriting lessons your child learns how to persevere and overcome challenges as they explore and discover the craft of and inspiration for writing their own songs.
  • Creativity: Your child will focus on exploring their creativity as they learn to apply the craft and skills of writing music and words, and discover the inspiration for their own, original songs.
