Your child will experience the joy of making music with other students in one of The Music Studio's exciting bands. Joining a band is a great way for your child to further develop their musical skills and apply them in a band in a relaxed learning environment while making new friends and developing life skills.

The Music Studio's rock, pop and jazz bands are designed for children who are comfortable with at least the basics of their instrument, and are intended to complement a student's private lessons. Students are organized according to musical interests, skill level and age. Classes are taught by The Music Studio's experienced and supportive band teachers. This is your child's chance to play in a real band!

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Interpersonal skills: Your child will develop social skills in there band including how to work with other towards a common goal, how to make group decisions, when to play a supporting role and when to take the lead, and how to offer and receive constructive comments in a group setting.
Creativity: Your child's creativity will flourish as they participate in the choice of songs to play in their band and contribute ideas for song arrangements. Your child will have the opportunity to create their own musical parts for songs and even write their own song for their band.
