Boredom-Busting Board Games & Activities!

Bring classic board games to life at Not-So-Board Games Camp, a one-of-a-kind, week-long adventure designed for curious, laid back and creative kids. Each day, campers will discover and play a different classic board game — not just on the table, but through interactive activities, crafts, and games. Plus, all campers get to experience VR versions of the games they play that make the experience truly next level.

Games for the week include:

5-7 year old session:Candy Land, Snakes & Ladders, Trouble, and Sequence for Kids.

8-10 year old session: Classic Battleship, Exploding Kittens, Codenames and Sequence.

11-13 year old session:Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit Jr., Codenames and Ticket To Ride

Each game becomes the theme of the day, guiding campers through hands-on fun activities.

Throughout the week, campers will enjoy:

  • Daily Board Game Play – Learn how to play, take turns, follow rules, and work as a team.
  • Themed Arts ’n’ Crafts – Kids create colorful art inspired by the games they play.
  • Outdoor Activities & Friendly Sports Challenges – Stay active with obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, friendly team sports and playground games.
  • Arcade Time – A fun daily break for playful competition and teamwork, including Minecraft, Halo and several others.
  • Field Trip to High Park – Explore nature, play outdoors, and have a picnic adventure.

Each day blends social skill-building, creative thinking, and physical activity — so campers are always moving, learning, and having fun. By the end of the week, they’ll have new friends, new favorite games, and a collection of arts and crafts they’ve created themselves.

Not-So-Board Games Camp is the perfect mix of education and entertainment — engaging kids in cooperative play while keeping the focus on fun! It's a chill camp that checks off all the boxes for parents and for kids.

NB. The VR experiences are not guaranteed for the 5-7 year old age range sessions. Contact us for more information.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Interpersonal skills: The Not-So-Board Games Camp is meant to be a chill experience week. Good sportsmanship and the ability to compromise is encouraged. Campers will play with each other - interacting, building friendships & gaining communication skills. It's friendly competition - focusing on 'friendly'.
  • Self-regulation: Our sessions start with the etiquette of game play. It is an important foundation and must be respected. Campers must learn to: take turns, not disrupt games, not give up, etc. Self control is key. We are navigating kids away from being sore losers & bad winners.
