CIT Camp

Seal Camp offers Counsellors-In-Training (CITs) begin with 2.5 days of training and workshops before completing three separate week-long placements in various Seal Camps. During each placement, they will shadow a counsellor, assist with program delivery and interact with campers as emerging leaders.  

The program includes daily reflections, where CITs come together to share experiences and engage in activities that prepare them for future counsellor roles. They will receive on-going evaluations with ongoing feedback and mentorship from staff.  

Upon completing the program, CITs will receive volunteer hours for their placement hours and may be eligible for an interview with Seal Camps or Seal Swim for future positions.
