A Wednesday evening was never as much fun and free as this! Children are encouraged to experiment with a variety of artistic mediums like watercolour and acrylic paint, soft and chalk pastels, specialty papers, ink, salt dough and clay to develop technical and fine motor skills as well as an understanding of all the wonderful ways they can be creative and make beautiful art! Experienced, caring, and fun Instructor Artist, Ghena is a trained Child and Youth Care practitioner and will offer exciting projects that will light that glittering yellow brick road to happiness and creative discovery. All materials are included.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encouraging students to work together. 
  • Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
