Through the ages and all over the world artistic treasures have inspired and mystified appreciators. In this class, children will create their own collection of artistic wonders while learning about some amazing works of art and themes that have captured imaginations of visual storytellers everywhere. Using a variety of materials, children will explore creativity and culture, and make their own artistic treasures like painted masks, movable characters, expressive paintings, neat sculptures to express their own thoughts, feelings and ideas. All materials are included.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encouraging students to work together.
Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
