In this class, you’ll get to release your ideas onto paper and canvas, try new things with sculpting materials, play with patterns, monkey around with mixed media, and learn all about art. Learn to draw your favorite animals and characters by paying special attention to facial features and posture, and become a better artist as you develop skills in simplifying subjects into shape, line, pattern, and texture. You’ll also make unique dimensional projects like mobiles or neat lanterns for your room! By the end of the session, you will have tried a little of everything. Rudi, Artist and Child and Youth Care specialist will support your learning as you have fun with friends in an amazing environment. All materials are included.

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encouraging students to work together.
  • Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
