Sculpt cute creatures, play with patterns and monkey around with mixed media. Learn to draw your favourite animals step-by-step with attention to facial features and posture by applying lessons in shape, line, pattern and texture! Grow as an artist by creating samples of colour theory to get a strong sense of mixing paint, and stretch your imagination by leaps and bounds as you have fun and create with a most inspiring group of fine feathered friends and a caring and attentive Artist Instructor and Childcare Practitioner! All materials are included.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged, and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
  • Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encouraging students to work together.
