So you want to be a Rock Star? You came to the right place! At Neighbour Note we believe there is a rock star in everyone just waiting to get out!

This program is designed to give all students valuable jamming, writing, and recording experience in a band setting.

All participants will be formed into bands of 3 to 5 members. Each band will work together to write songs, create band logos, and learn to play some songs by their favorite artists.

Songwriting techniques will also be taught. All students will rehearse and perform songs from their favorite bands and artists.

The program is once a week for an hour in length and is for a maximum of five people. Band member combinations may include up to three guitarists, two vocalists, a bassist, drummer, and keyboardist.

We turn teens into rock stars. We form bands of 3 to 5 members and give them real-life jamming, writing, and recording experience.

In this course, you’ll get the full rock star experience: work with new band members as you write songs, jam together, and design your band’s merchandise. Let’s get rockin’!

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Tolerance: Teens will learn to work with different people with different personalities in a small group band setting. They will also learn to be patient with one another.
Curiosity: All band members get to learn their favorite songs. This truly is a program where kids love to learn! They can really develop their passion for music.
