Around the World – One World, Many Wonders!

At GlenOak Academy Summer Camp, we provide a traditional summer camp experience that's fun, engaging, and full of hands-on learning! Each week, our camp is built around a unique theme, giving campers the opportunity to dive into exciting activities that spark their curiosity and creativity.

What makes our camp special?

GlenOak Academy Summer Camp combines fun learning opportunities with interactive and age-appropriate activities that inspire growth and exploration. Campers experience a balance of academics (led by certified teachers), arts, and recreational physical activity while making memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Our camp is designed to foster learning in a holistic and exciting way. 

What will your child experience?

This week, campers will embark on a journey around the globe, exploring different cultures, traditions, and stories from every corner of the world. Each day brings hands-on activities, interactive workshops, and cultural explorations that teach empathy and respect. By the end of the week, campers will leave inspired to embrace diversity and act with confidence and kindness wherever they go!

A typical day at camp:

Each morning begins with a large-group gathering featuring energizing games or challenges. Campers then break into smaller, age-based groups for focused activities where they'll explore themed Math, Science, and Art in engaging ways. Throughout the day, they'll enjoy creative projects, outdoor adventures, and teamwork-based challenges like solving escape rooms to save the dinosaurs!

Friday Fun:

We’ll wrap up Around the World Week with a Global Celebration Day, bringing campers together to celebrate everything they’ve explored throughout the week. The day will include fun, interactive activities inspired by different countries, a chance to revisit favourite games and traditions, and time to reflect on what they’ve learned about cultures from around the world.To top it all off, campers will enjoy a pizza lunch, bringing everyone together for a shared meal and a well-earned break after a week of global adventures.
