Learn the skills needed to survive the wildreness! Campers will build a shelter from materials found in the forest, learn how to safely make a fire, and enjoy ceader tea!


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Independence: Campers will gain independence through lessons on hard skills such as shelter building and fire making while being supported by a capable leader.
  • Curiosity: Campers are encouraged to explore the local flora and fauna of Claireville Conservation Area, leading to a sparked interest and curiosity of the natural world.
