Camp STEAM: LEGO, Forging the Future | Aug 24-28

During Camp STEAM's LEGO Forging the Future themed weeks, campers will design, build and bring new worlds to life in this imagination-powered week. Using LEGO SPIKE robotics, 3D printing, hands-on materials, and STEAM-based challenges, campers explore themed environments—adventure worlds, mystery lands, magical realms, underwater cities, space hubs, and more—each with its own design challenges and problems waiting to be solved

Campers explore how structures stand, how machines move, how sensors respond, how digital design enhances physical builds, and how creativity shapes narrative experiences.

By merging artistic storytelling with real engineering, campers learn that STEAM is not just a set of subjects—it’s the toolkit that brings entire worlds to life.

Why Camp Steam Canada?

At school, how often do kids get to just sit and think? To invent? To create? To dream, and to discover what moves them and drives them?

At Camp STEAM Canada, campers have fun at our day camp while learning with activities in science, technology, engineering, the arts and math, but we’re about so much more than that!

Campers learn lifelong skills about ways to approach problems and create solutions by exploring different approaches from all STEAM areas to a particular activity or task. Instead of doing something how they were told, they have an opportunity to explore how THEY think it should (it could!) be done. Read more here. 

Through fun activities, Camp STEAM campers will explore new:

Mindsets:  Explore different problem solving perspectives from each STEAM area.
Skillsets:  Learn practical skills in areas like coding, animation, design and more.
Toolsets: Have fun with robotics, 3D printers, and try other physical and digital tools.

2026 Summer Camp Themes

Every week of Camp STEAM features fun and educational projects, wrapped in that week’s theme. There are 4 themes with unique programming that each run twice throughout the summer. If campers join us for multiple weeks, or progress through projects more quickly, we have challenges and projects that continue to build from wherever they are, ensuring no matter what level a camper is at, we meet them there to start their journey!  Our 2026 summer camp themes and dates are:
