The Leadership Exchange Program is a new 27 day Program that we are running in conjunction with YMCA Camp Pine Crest located in Muskoka, Ontario. This program will focus on the development of leadership skills through an exchange trip to Camp Pine Crest. This exchange will involve a 4-5 day canoe trip on the French River. Participants will also be able to develop their leadership skills on a 4-5 day hike near Camp Chief Hector YMCA. During this hike, CCHY campers will use their leadership skills to host the camp Pine Crest exchange participants. All travel associated with the exchange program is included in the program fee.

Campers must reach this age before December 31st, 2025. 


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Interpersonal skills: This program promises to facilitate opportunities for learning new skills, development of backcountry expedition experience, and leadership skills.
  • Courage: Our Leadership campers participate in the planning and preparing of an eighteen-day long expedition. They will encounter opportunities to overcome and grow as outdoor enthusiasts.
