(5) Overall experience
My son started Brain Power when he was in grade 4. I was drawn to the curriculum, high faculty standards, and enormous effort put into the program experience. When he started the program, he had difficulty starting any academic task and completing any given work. The Brain Power program's rigour trained him to write standardized tests on time. He now thinks creatively, loves to read, and appreciates opposing views. This was the best investment for our child. He has built endurance in reading long books.
(5) Reason for choosing the program
I felt the public school system teachers were overwhelmed, and I wanted my child to be exposed to a substantive and rich curriculum for language and arts There is no other program that compares to the high faculty standards at Brain Power, and they are committed educators. The extracurricular activities that they host, like spelling bee, math olympiad, book signing, and theatre outings, are excellent.
(5) Program quality and activities
The programs and content at Brain Power have been crafted and developed for over 30 years, and it shows in their exercises. The teachers are experienced academics, media personalities, and the leadership has a great Canadian cultural vibe.
My children took courses in writing, public speaking, and math. They got the opportunity to be published in a book of short stories, which was very exciting. It was great to see my children in a competitive and academic training environment that supplements their school curriculum. They enjoy attending the classes and are fully immersed in academic activities.
(5) Social dynamics and experience
Brain Power hosts incredible social programs outside the classroom that lets my children bond with the other students. They host movies in the park, book signings, and interviews with published authors as well as academic competitions.
I noticed that my child's posture, eye contact, and behavior improved while interacting with other adults and children alike. Brain Power taught him to use his skills to improve his speaking and public engagement. I am very grateful to Brain Power for this because this skill was cultivated in class.
(5) Skills and growth
Some of the many skills that my child picked up in the program are:
- increased pace of reading and writing.
- He is learning on average 20 new words per week and testing comprehension.
- He is continuously improving his critical thinking.
- He is learning historical, scientific, and contemporary facts from exercises.
- He has gained the confidence to learn challenging topics and attend global competitions.
(5) Staff/Instructors/Counsellors
The staff are caring, committed educators and professionals. Most of them have PhD or Masters' level education and are very knowledgeable in their field. They know how to build the skills required for my child to be successful academically. I can clearly measure how my child has improved over time.

The Brain Power program provides incredible value and a world-class educational experience. The locations of the classes are in beautiful academic settings.
I would encourage anyone to try their summer or regular programs, and you will quickly realize why this program is an essential enrichment to your child's education.
