Located just 1h west of Ottawa, our Adventure Resort is perfectly situated on the beautiful Ottawa River. The resort caters to not only water-based activities, but a wide range of great land-based sports. Our signature Teen Resident Kayak Camp was the first of its kind to cater to the budding whitewater enthusiasts. The Ottawa River provides the ideal location with its warm, deep and safe rapids. Our instructors are handpicked internationally recognized kayakers and are World Champions or Olympians! Mountain biking, rock climbing and high ropes courses are just a few activities every camper sees. Those who graduate can move on to our “Keener Program” which has a reputation for developing World Champion kayakers.

Outdoor education is a core element of Wilderness Tours. Algonquin College partners with Wilderness Tours exclusively to deliver the hard skills that make up their 2-year Outdoor Adventure diploma program.
