Calling all aspiring DJs aged 8-10 and 11-13! Join our DJ 101 Camp and embark on an exciting musical journey where you'll learn the art of DJing through hands-on instruction and interactive experiences. This camp is designed to introduce young enthusiasts to the world of DJing in a fun and age-appropriate way.

What You'll Learn:

• DJ Basics: Understand the fundamentals of DJing, including queuing, beatmatching and mixing.
• Equipment Knowledge: Get familiar with essential DJ equipment, such as mixers, controllers, and headphones.
• Cords & Wires: Learn the different ways equipment is connected.
• Music Selection: Learn how to choose and organize tracks to create seamless sets.

Camp Goals and Outcomes:

• Gain confidence in using DJ equipment.
• Develop basic DJing skills and techniques.
• Foster creativity and musical expression.
• Build teamwork and collaboration through group activities.

Additional Activities:

• Bonus Arcade Time: Enjoy extra playtime in our high-tech arcade.
• Physical Activities: Balanced mix of indoor and outdoor exercises to keep kids active.
• Arts ‘n’ Crafts: Engage in creative DJ themed projects.
• DJ VR Experiences: Dive into virtual reality DJing adventures. Very immersive. Very cool.
• Board Games & Challenges: Participate in friendly competitions and win exciting prizes!
• Age-Appropriate Groups: Campers are grouped by similar age to ensure a tailored and enjoyable experience.
• Options for Food. For a small additional fee, we can supply lunch and snacks for your campers, but we also allow lunches to be brought from home.
• Trip to High Park to take advantage of their awesome playground and zoo - because that's where the Capybaras are.

We provide two separate and distinct age-appropriate sessions to help us: focus the best level of instruction, keep the campers as comfortable as possible, determine the necessary number of staff & counselors and provide us reasonable outcome expectations. This camp is fun, but we are serious about getting youth DJing with the right foundations. It's fun, but not always as easy as it looks. We endeavour to have everyone ready by the end of the week to play a set in a real club environment. This is a very exclusive, invite-only event.
