Mining & Building Theme – Summer Camp

Join Snapology for an exciting Mining & Building Minecraft®-Inspired Camp! Young builders dig into a world of creativity as they explore mining, crafting, and construction through hands-on STEAM activities using LEGO® bricks. Campers work alongside favorite Minecraft® characters like Steve and Alex, watch out for Creepers and Endermen, and challenge themselves to outbuild the competition like true master builders!

Daily Activities:

Icebreaker Game: Start the day with a mining or Minecraft-themed activity to energize campers, introduce themselves, and build teamwork.

Hands-On LEGO® & Creative Building: Design tunnels, forts, villages, and imaginative structures while developing creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Mining & Building STEAM Challenge: Engage in hands-on STEAM activities focused on engineering, math, science, technology, and art, using “resources” to build and redesign creations collaboratively.

Creative Arts & Crafts: Extend the theme with Minecraft-inspired arts projects, promoting cooperation and shared ideas.

Active Play & Themed Games: Indoor or outdoor games inspired by mining and building adventures, encouraging teamwork, energy, and strategy.

LEGO Showcase & Reflection: Share builds with peers, celebrate accomplishments, and reflect on collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving.

By the end of the day, campers develop creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, teamwork, and confidence while fully immersing themselves in the exciting Minecraft® world—all screen-free!
