Reading and Comprehension -Students will build on the fundamentals of phonetic articulation and semantic strategy as they are guided through reading with the renown Ledson method and are engaged in comprehension exercises.
Math-Students will work through the five strands of Ontario Curriculum math at their individual pace, with printable worksheets and live teacher assistance, as well as regular grading and feedback for all assignment submissions
English-Students will work on enriching their vocabulary and grammar, and they will also explore writing about different subjects.
French-Students will learn how to introduce themselves in French and engage in the most common basics of conversation. Students will also be engaged, musically, learning to sing songs in French, using semantically reinforcing actions and learning related conversational vocabulary along the way.
Spanish-Learning outcomes: Most commonly used verbs in Spanish: to be, to go, to have, to do, to see, to give, etc./ Vocabulary: the house, the city, food and drink, vacation, clothes, seasons, days and months, numbers./ Short conversations: greetings, asking for help and questions, expressing likes and dislikes.
Carpet Time (General Knowledge and Interpersonal Skills)-Students will connect with their friends and teacher in an engaging guided group discussion about topics spanning a variety of subjects, including but not exclusive to Science, Geography, History, and more.Request information
