Preschool - Gr 6: Web Design, App Design, Machine Learning, Math, French, Spanish, Debate, Entrepreneurship, Journalism +!

Founded by a member of Mensa, and currently led by a member of Mensa Canada's national Gifted Youth Committee, SLI's online summer programs cater to bright minds that know no limits! From the application of the school's world renown preschool reading pedagogy to teaching students in Gr 1 - 6 how to make their own websites and apps in only 4-week sets, this program offers everything to stimulate the spark of endless possibility in budding leaders! While reinforcing traditional English and Math skills and exploring realms of Entrepreneurship, Journalism and Natural Science, students will also learn how to write code in HTML, CSS, R, and Python, with an introduction to machine learning (AI), as well as javascript block-based programming.  Graduates of this program won't just shine behind the screens, as our inclusive course offers public speaking and debating capstones to harness our students' potential into  voices that will be heard! Learning Spanish and French in our summer courses, students will have their pick of languages to articulate themselves in, whether in formal debate or simply on a social call.  These programs are consolidated into half-days (9:00am - 12:00pm) with shorter sessions for preschool and kindergarten students.  All courses are expertly designed with a cohesion that allows for the achievement of learning outcomes without the requirement of homework.  Because we teach our courses with live instructors and a low teacher-student ratio for a most effective student experience, spots are limited.
