(5) Overall experience
Experience at the summer camp at Seneca Hill was nothing short of great; we were immediately welcomed and shown around in a very family-oriented manner. They care, and it shows. I loved their method of attention and how detailed they were. The day-to-day stuff and communication were great, and it gave me a sense of security that the kid was in good hands. The experience was great from the get-go. I decided to send him to school there, which really happened because if summer camp was this great, I could only imagine how school is, and it really didn’t disappoint.
(5) Reason for choosing the camp
Looking for a fun and educational camp, which led us to decide on this summer camp, it was the activities along with the academic focus that really stood out to me. The fact that there was an academic focus on preparation for the next academic year, along with focusing on the child, was a deciding factor.
(5) Program quality and activities
It involved a lot of outdoor activities that included fun and education. The field trips are fun and were educational as well. I noticed a difference with the kids from the first week, which showed me that they are trying and willing to work individually with each child to get to the max, which is great. Communication between the camp and parents is great as well.

Yes, he made a lot of friends that he carried on forward to the new school year as well, which was great, and it really helped him to transition easily into the new school year and helped him feel more at ease as he knew everyone from the faculty, along with some friends that really made him and me feel at home.
(5) Skills and growth
More independent. I saw a noticeable difference in him that he started trying things alone on his own, he started thinking about the bigger picture and how he can contribute as well. He started to grasp on smaller concepts, on one's impact on his surroundings, as well. No challenges that we could see. I saw him enjoying it and looking forward to it. An academic focus on math and English was a great addition to mix education with fun.
(5) Staff/Instructors/Counsellors
The staff are very attentive to any concern, big or small, and they would listen with empathy and provide support or a solution where needed. The way they explain things to kids and parents is amazing, as it breaks it down, explaining the impact and effect. The way the staff correct actions is so amazing, which involves a way of explaining to both conflicting parties that there is an issue and explaining how that impacts those around us.
(5) Advice and tips
If you are looking for a fun and educational camp where it is a mix of fun and learning new things and life skills in general. The school is a community and summer camp was a great tool for us to decide on his future. It was the main deciding factor for us to consider the school for the academic year. The staff care and it shows thru their way of talking and handling kids.
