Take in all nature has to offer on this artscapade around ROM! Visit our Patrick and Barbara Keenan Family Gallery of Hands-On Biodiversity and meet the multicoloured animals from around our world. Why do tigers have stripes? Why do chameleons change colour? Why are butterflies bright and moths not? We take a special trip to our blockbuster exhibition, Nature in Brilliant Colour, to answer these questions. Head to the Teck Suite of Galleries Earth Treasures and dig up earth’s most precious gems, then take a flight to Egypt and be amazed by the vibrant jewelry made from these stones. Draw dinosaurs, paint penguins, and sketch the stars as we gain inspiration from the beauty around us for some nature-themed art. Grab your paintbrushes, pens, and wildest ideas on this journey through the ROM!
