At Ross Creek we provide an amazing art day taught by professional artists and a great camp experience for kids on our 178 acres of field and forest, led by our fabulous counsellors. Whether exploring the world of making, or make-believe, drumming or dancing, making movies, or making monsters on paper,  our camps have something for every kid! Kids get outside each day, and explore our gorgeous landscape as part of their program.

Our Senior campers start to explore art forms in more depth, learning from our professional artists and gaining new skills while still focused on the creative exploration of the world, through the arts.

July 4-8
Animation Studio
We'll spend a week with a working animator taking campers from initial concept to the final credits of your own animation! From Flip-books to film, we'll explore various techniques of animation to make something really special together.

OR

Architecture Studio
We'll explore both real and dream architecture, looking at some of the craziest and coolest buildings around the world, In this workshop, campers will get hands-on experience using natural materials to design and build your own unique creation here on the North Mountain. Take the audience on a tour of your new structure during the end of week showcase, and take home a model of a fabulous space you've designed.

July 11-15

'This week takes you from pen to paint to printmaking to sculpture! Working with our wonderful artist faculty, you'll explore the ways to make your artwork come alive through incredible new skills. Learn about local and international artists, while diving into your own studio practice. Finish up the end of week, with your own exhibition in the main gallery.

OR

Working with our fashion faculty, you will explore textile and fashion design in this one week camp all about fabric, fashion, and your phenomenal imagination! Weave together a combination of materials, and experiment with processes like applique, block printing, and soft sculpture! If you've been before, we'll take you further!

July 18-22
Filmmaking
Lights, camera, ACTION! It’s your turn to explore the entire process of filmmaking from initial concept to final credits. Working with our filmmaking faculty, you’ll get to collaborate with other campers to create the story, the set and costumes, and then act and direct in your own movie at the Ross Creek Studios! Expand your world with in-depth workshops on script-writing, storyboards, lighting, audio, and tell your story with an end of week film-screening.

OR

Street Art
Learn how to scale-up your ideas and bring colour and different styles to the world around us, all while learning to use spray paint, and tools of the trade, in a safe, positive way! Collaborative public art, stickers, stencils, and more! Compose a one-of-a-kind mural here at Ross Creek.

July 25-29
