Camps and programs here bring imagination, strategy, and social connection to kids and teens from throughout the KW-Cambridge area. It's a proudly inclusive, equality-minded organization that focuses exclusively on Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop role-playing games. The D&D Adventure Summer Camp is core, a one-week immersion in the classic game led by expert facilitators. Campers develop characters and navigate storylines, growing teamwork and problem-solving skills. PD Day camps also feature fantasy-themed games and activities. Kids grow skills in storytelling, creative play, and collaborative strategy, nerding out with others, having fun together, and gain confidence and social skills in a freeform, fun setting. The gaming space itself is one more attraction, where kids can dive deep into a library of campaign modules, books, and minis.
Our camp staff are a dedicated team of adults with a wide range of skills and experiences, all eager to share their wisdom and love of role play games with the next generation of players. Our staff all have their Vulnerable Sector Police Checks and are trained to ensure a safe, supportive, and well-supervised environment. We are a Circle of Security Classroom and are certified in Standard First Aid and CPR C & AED. We also offer inclusion support provided by AuDHD staff who have received extensive training in childhood mental health, trauma, and attachment. Our staff are specifically not educational assistants, social workers, or behaviour therapists.
