Young Einsteins + Half-Day Activities

Welcome to Young Einsteins, where curious minds dive into the fascinating world of physics, sound, electricity, and motion! This hands-on camp sparks imagination and creativity as kids explore the scientific principles behind everyday phenomena. From building Rube Goldberg machines to experimenting with light and sound, campers will unleash their inner scientists and discover just how fun learning can be!

What to Expect:

• Introduction to Physics & Light: Learn about Albert Einstein and the basics of physics, experiment with the properties of light, and put on a shadow puppet show!
• The Science of Sound: Explore how sound works with fun experiments, create sound-inspired artwork, and discover how different sounds affect our emotions.
• Electricity & Energy: Build kinetic Rube Goldberg machines, create your own Scribble Machine, and light up circuits with squishy dough!
• Forces & Motion: Design and test catapults, build ramps for rolling experiments, and explore the physics of hula hooping.
• Final Challenges: Put your new knowledge to the test with creative STEM challenges, review highlights of the week, and celebrate your scientific discoveries!

The other half of each day will include outdoor activities, including sports and physical games, nature-based exploration, water play, and creative free-play activities. While some activities may connect to science themes, the focus will be on keeping kids active, social, and engaged in a variety of fun outdoor experiences.
