Tinker Time + Half-Day Activities

Get ready to tinker, build, and create in Tinker Time! This hands-on, half-day camp is perfect for curious minds who love to explore how things work. Campers will dive into exciting projects that encourage experimentation, problem-solving, and innovation.

What to Expect:

• Cardboard Engineering: Use cardboard, tape, and simple tools to build bridges, towers, and other creative structures.
• LEGO Engineering & Challenges: Take on exciting LEGO engineering challenges, from building earthquake-proof towers to designing working pulley systems.
• Wind-Powered Machines: Build windmills and wind-powered cars, then test them in fun, competitive challenges.
• Recycled Robots: Turn everyday materials into moving robots using motors, batteries, and recycled parts.
• Chain Reactions: Create Rube Goldberg-style chain reactions using dominoes, marbles, and creative contraptions.

The other half of each day will include outdoor activities such as sports, organized group games, nature walks, water-based fun, and creative free-play activities. While some activities may tie into tinkering themes, the focus will be on keeping kids active, social, and engaged in playful outdoor experiences.
