Learn to sew on a sewing machine, design simple patterns, learn about fabric and how to make practical and stylish selections for different projects, and create a variety of fun items! Students will learn step-by-step techniques in sewing and construction with an award-winning fashion and accessories designer, who comes with plenty of teaching experience. High-quality sewing machines will be made available for use in class, as well as sewing kits with all necessary tools and implements. All materials are included.

Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged, and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encouraging students to work together.
