Improv Theatre and Comedy for Teens is equivalent to a little kid getting a bag of toys. Teens get a spectacular outlet in this class to understand and implement the basic skills and concepts of improvisation, and how to cultivate a “Yes, And” attitude for life in a fun and relaxed environment. They build an Improv vocabulary and execute basic scenes through fun activities and in-class group performance. Great ways to incorporate humour, creativity, public speaking skills and spontaneity into your lifestyle. Nurture your inner extrovert with Sam Wyss, a comedy actor and improviser with 13+ years of improv experience learning, performing, and coaching with The Second City, Bad Dog Theatre and The Assembly. Sam performed with her troupes at Comedy Bar and The Second City, and as part of the ensemble on AMI’s The Squeaky Wheel for which she was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award. She can also be seen interrupting various TV shows in commercials for many known brands. No materials required other than note-taking items of your choice. So put another shrimp on your Barbie, friends and have some fun as you get skilled at personality and wit at Improv school, so sigma.
