Hey, Superstar! It’s your feet that are making the world spin. Draw the sky nearer with your own hands and grab a star for your pocket. Going after your dreams is what it’s all about in this class. Soar as you dance your fingers through clay, break the rules with mixed media, and rock-out with cool watercolour projects using specialty papers, acrylic and glow paint. Go wild with wax crayon melts, drawing mediums, and collage techniques! Create wonderful works of imagination and aspiration as you’re expertly guided by skilled artists and early childhood educators. Develop an understanding of process, material use and artistic composition. You will have fun, make friends and get help along the way as you shuttle across the galaxy on the back of a glowing guitar or flutter and swish in layers of silky watercolour skirts while dancing on the backs of luminescent jellyfish. WHOA!! All materials are included. Flying jellyfish are extra.

Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork encouraging students to work together.
