Stepping outside the box, you will use a glass jar as your canvas and an array of vibrant-coloured tissue paper as your colour medium. You will create your unique lantern with colour inspiration from master artists: Van Gogh, Kandinsky, Klee and Hundertwasser. All materials included. Feel free to bring your own additional glass vase(s).


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
  • Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encouraging students to work together and have fun!
