In this free-flowing watercolour and acrylic painting class, children are encouraged to delve into their imagination, memories and dreams to tell a story through their paintings. As they learn skills in colour blending, composition, perspective and technique they’re guided by the instructor to include images from their colourful and limitless thoughts to create an element of surprise and wonder in their artwork. All materials are included.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
  • Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encouraging students to work together and achieve a common goal while fostering a sense of community and mutual respect.
