Summer Camp is vitally important to families and you put your trust in us every summer to care for your children. We take this seriously at all times. In response, we have taken special care to ensure that trust is duly earned as we navigate COVID-19 and a post-pandemic Summer Camp.
Muskoka Woods has enlisted the expert and professional advice of members of the health care community for several decades. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they have provided expert advice, guidance and been instrumental in helping us set direction for our response.
We've updated our facilities, including our Healthcare Centre, to ensure we are ready to welcome your guests. Each of our cabins have been fitted with air conditioning and standalone HEPA filter units. Medical grade hand sanitizer stations have been installed in abundance around camp, and hand washing stations are installed in key locations. We've increased the time between campers leaving and new ones arriving, to ensure cabins are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
Our processes will continue to update and we encourage you to check out our website for more information!

Located in the heart of cottage country, the vast offering of activities, and sparkling facilities, are what attract families and delight campers. There are all the traditional camp activities, though there a host of others in addition, from axe throwing to radio production. It’s a lot, to be sure, and some campers might feel a bit overwhelmed deciding what they want to do on any given day. That said, the camp has a reputation for delivering a stellar experience, something it is uniquely able to do. Buildings are modern, and staff are engaged and supportive. Day programs are of interest to families with cottages nearby, and specialty weeks, including girls’ only sessions, are varied and appealing.

Before camp, Lucas was extremely shy and very much a boy that like to have his Momma around.
On our way to camp, it was raining and he told me that the rain was a sign that he shouldn’t be going to camp. After setting up his bed, he looked at me and told he was okay, and his younger sister and I could leave. I left with a tear in eye but a happy heart because I thought, he found a place to be LUCAS. Lucas after camp is much more social and I thank you for that. Lucas grew so much in the week he was at Muskoka Woods; I can’t even begin to put into words.
My son become comfortable in his skin for the first time. Thank you just isn’t enough.
