Since 1984, McGill Sports Camp has been serving the Montreal and McGill communities. Located at the McGill Sports Complex, home of the McGill Martlets and Redbirds, McGill Sports Camp aims to introduce youths to sports and recreational activities, and inspire them to live an active and healthy lifestyle in a safe and welcoming environment. Each week, children and teens aged 6 to 15 are welcomed to the McGill Sports Complex for a variety of multisport activities, featuring both traditional and non-traditional sports. Activities as led by university-level students, many of which are students in Kinesiology and Physical Education.
McGill Sports Camp is located at the University's Sports Complex, home of the McGill Martlets and Redbirds. Campers will use the same facilities as McGill University students and varsity athletes, and the same stadium as the Montreal Alouettes CFL team. Our camp is also led by university-level students, many of whom are students in Kinesiology and Physical Education.

McGill University’s kids' sports camps are a polished, high-energy camp experience. Camps run as multi-sport programs built around sports, aquatics, and creative activities, adapted to kids’ ages, abilities, and interests. The biggest strength of these camps is the setting. McGill has delivered camp programming for 40 years in the varsity athletic facilities used by the Martlets, Redbirds, and even the Alouettes. Camp instructors, typically students in Physical Education and Kinesiology, bring the ideal youthful, energetic spirit to the camp, combining this with critical skill-building. The setting also emphasizes diversity and inclusion, along with respect, teamwork, and leadership. And being a camp, there’s an emphasis on confidence-building over competition. These are ideal for families looking for an active Montreal camp where children can try many sports, keep moving, and build their interpersonal skills in a venerable university setting.
Three Things: McGill Sports Camp
Hear the three things that Our Kids’ editors see when they look at McGill Sports Camp
Welcome to the McGill Sports Camp. We are eagerly looking forward to the 2023 season and our 40th year of operation. We strongly believe that the combination of our extensive programming along with the maturity of our staff will provide your child with an enriching camp experience.
Our talented and mature staff is second to none. We are fortunate to primarily recruit university-aged students, many of who are students from McGill's Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education. Students who are looking at careers in teaching use our camp as an opportunity to practice their teaching skills. We are also fortunate to have a number of staff who were once campers themselves.
