(5) Overall experience

It was such a fantastic day program for the kids. My son Sebastian had so much fun. The setup was perfect; it had the perfect space size, had art and a juice box, they fed the kids, had a creative activity that served as a gift from him to me, and it was wrapped. He baked cookies and took some home in a container. He also had lollipops and water. It was a well-rounded experience for my son. He had fun with one of the other children there. It was very affordable, and the people were very kind.

(5) Reason for choosing the program

The price, the time frame, the activities included, and the execution of the experience were so well done. I know this event was very well worth the investment. I did ask them to keep me posted about any future events. My son left very happy, and so did I

(5) Program quality and activities

He loves baking and often bakes at our community centre, so I knew it was a great event for him. My son really loves making me a Christmas surprise. It was really cool because usually kids don't get the opportunity to make their parents something homemade and something that is a surprise. It was great because I got to do errands

(5) Social dynamics and experience

He made friends with the girl beside him. His new friend he had made was sitting right beside him, and they were very similar in age and size in comparison to the others and even in personality. I was told that they were besties in the program the whole time and got along so well, running and dancing and having fun with each other.

(5) Skills and growth

Baking, making friends with new people, and social skills are out of his comfort zone. He got to use some of his baking skills that he learned previously in this program. He got to be in a room of strangers and find someone he had the most in common with, and was building confidence and social skills this way. It's great to meet new people in our community.

(5) Staff/Instructors/Counsellors

They were kind, friendly, organized, and prepared, and worth it. The two people who were running it greeted me so nicely, along with my son. He got to wear a name tag and was well taken care of. We were very happy with the results. They communicated with me after, with a good description of how the experience was for him

(5) Advice and tips

It's very nice people hosting it. It's child-appropriate. It's worth it with what they give and provide. It's thoughtful for the parents with the activities they can make. I really do recommend this initiative be used. They are kid-focused and really keep the kids engaged by using realistic interests and activities on the table. Bash was never bored.
