Digital Art Advanced - ILLUSTRATION 2

Prerequisite: Digital Art Intermediate - Illustration 1

This course is an advanced level digital illustration and graphic design class. Students will be required to know the Krita or Photoshop interface and have an understanding of basic keyboard shortcuts. They should be able to operate a drawing tablet independently. These classes are perfect for those who are interested in pursuing a career in art and design.

The Advanced Illustration course has 10 classes that include the following projects: children’s book cover illustration, mixed media photo illustration, and concept art.

An Android tablet with a stylus pen and keyboard will be provided. 

We will be using Krita , a free open-source digital drawing app that is similar to Adobe Photoshop. It is available on Windows, MacOS, Linux and Android tablets (not available on iOS/Apple iPads).
