Legends Sports Camp offers kids the opportunity to learn multiple sports, hone their skills, and develop essential character traits such as teamwork, leadership, and problem solving. Unique weekly field trips and themes ensure that no 2 weeks are the same. Located in the beautiful Riverdale Park East, we have access to a ball hockey rink, tennis & pickleball courts, soccer fields, a 400 metre track, and a public swimming pool. We also have an indoor gymnasium for rainy days, opening the door for basketball, dodgeball, ping pong and a number of other sports. Our goal each week is to make every camper feel like a legend!
Character Development: This program helps build the following traits
Interpersonal skills: Many of the sports and games we play are team games, and this requires campers to communicate with each other and work together. Our staff are there to lead the way and guide campers, but allowing the kids to learn from each other and find solutions together is an integral part of our program.
Courage: It is often intimidating for kids to try new things. Our staff work with the campers to build up their confidence and motivate them to try new activities. We teach kids that a failed attempt only means they are one step closer to succeeding.
