Legacy of Dance Academy is a multiple award-winning, non-competitive yet professional recreational dance program for ages 2.5 through adult. For over 33 years, our family-owned and operated studio has been committed to providing excellence in dance education in a fun, positive, and nurturing environment.

We pride ourselves on offering small class sizes, capped at just 10–12 students, allowing each dancer to receive individualized attention and support. Our certified, experienced, and caring instructors create an inclusive atmosphere where students can develop confidence, learn proper technique, build friendships, and discover a lifelong love of dance.

Our beautiful, bright, state-of-the-art facility features professional raised cushioned Harlequin dance flooring designed to absorb impact from jumps and landings, helping to reduce strain and promote dancer safety.

Conveniently located on the border of Scarborough, Markham, and North York, we welcome dancers of all abilities and experience levels. More than just a dance studio, we are a supportive dance family where students create lasting memories, friendships, and experiences that extend far beyond the classroom.

Each season culminates in exciting year-end performances in a professional theatre, giving every dancer the opportunity to shine on stage and proudly showcase the skills and confidence they have developed throughout the year.
