Our intro classes offer short sessions for kids, to give them the basic sense and understanding of a dance class and style, and what it offers without a long term commitment. A great introduction to dance, or to a new style that someone hasn't tried before, think of it as a longer trial class over a few months. Clarifying what each dance entails and making it easier to decide what dance class to choose for a longer session such as our full year season classes.

Legacy of Dance Academy's Hip Hop classes are energetic, fun, bringing the street style urban dance culture moves into the studio space as students learn to groove and move to the beats and even do the popular street dance battles with classmates to show off their individual talents. Once you Hip hop you wont stop!


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Physicality: Hip Hop helps to boost physical strength by improving gross motor skills, coordination, balance, and flexibility through rhythmic movement and dance
  • Courage: Hip hop can be a powerful tool for helping kids build courage — socially, emotionally, and creatively. It also teaches them to work together as a team
