Building on the fundamentals of paddling, camping, and outdoor cooking from Canoe Tripping I, campers will embark on their first multi-day canoe and camping adventure to further build their confidence and skills in nature. Campers will practice paddling techniques, follow the principles of Leave No Trace, and develop the confidence to handle extended time in the outdoors while strengthening teamwork and problem-solving skills. Outside of their camping excursions, campers will have the opportunity to sign up for other camp activities - including climbing, arts, and sports games across the LCS Campus.


Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

  • Courage: In this program, campers will step outside their comfort zone and participate in a canoe trip and learn in fun and engaging ways.
  • Curiosity: Campers will approach this program with curiosity through an opportunity to explore nature and expand their canoeing skills.
