The Our Kids review of Joookooo Sports Academy

At Joookooo Sports Academy, basketball may be the main attraction, but that’s not all there is. Their camps and programs include a wide range of activities, where kids participate in skill development in sports, but also for life. The primary objective of this program is to provide enrichment opportunities around STEM, sports, and competition. Volleyball, dodgeball, football, frisbee and soccer are also played in this multi-sport camp, using skill-building games. While this camp is very active, some downtime is allotted in the form of arts and crafts and STEM activities. Kids leave this camp with increased sportsmanship, problem solving, communication, and leadership skills. Counselors are exuberant and encouraging of kids, no matter their sports skill level. Joookooo credits the success of their camps to what they call their life coaches, who help campers make and achieve their goals. Everyone is a winner at Joookoo and kids go home with many stories to tell of their time spent here.

At JOOOKOOO, our staff and counsellors are dedicated professionals passionate about sports and education. Our coaches are certified basketball experts with extensive experience in youth development. They undergo rigorous training, including first aid, child psychology, and sports education certifications, to provide top-quality mentorship. We pride ourselves on the diversity of our team, which includes former athletes, educators, and community leaders from various backgrounds. This diversity enriches our programs and fosters an inclusive environment.
