This program provides participants with a consistent extra-curricular activity while giving caregivers much-needed respite! Caregivers can rest easy knowing that the participant will be safe, supported, and engaged. Dedicated staff members work with caregivers to ensure each participant is set up for success each day. Our respite program goes way beyond providing care – we are dedicated to engagement and providing adaptive recreational opportunities to meet all needs. Each daily schedule is filled with various activities to engage and excite the participants, while fostering individual and group goal development. Each day includes arts and crafts, music, sensory opportunities, group or social games, and much more!
A standout component of our respite program is our commitment to engaging each participant in the community! Our outings not only provide fresh air and exercise but also offer new opportunities to engage with the local community. Participants can expect to participate in nature walks, visits to parks, libraries, local attractions or events, and much, much more!
After registering for a respite program, our dedicated Program Coordinator will connect with you to learn more about the participant, schedule a program orientation, and provide you with an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Evening respite runs from September to December, January to March and April to June, while weekend respite is offered once monthly from September – June. P.A. Days run from September - June. Be sure to look out for our next round of registration!
