(5) Overall experience
I love everything about Explorations summer camp and weekend activities! The kids and the instructors are great. The lessons are incredible. I like that classes are small because we get to be creative and learn a lot. Plus, we get to play lots of games. I like that I can design my own schedule and customize it to what I want to practice or learn more about. I get to do all the things I love and make some great friends too.

I really enjoy the Dungeons and Dragons class because it’s fun to see how different people react to different situations. I’ve learned a lot in the video game design classes and have gotten to make my own game with a soundtrack and everything. The comics class has taught me a lot of new skills so that I can put my ideas on paper. And, the Minecraft class was just so much fun!
(4.5) Social dynamics and experience
Making friends at Explorations has been easy for me because many of the kids there share the same interests as me. I also got to find out new things just by checking out what other people were working on. I’m happy that I get to see familiar faces every summer at camp and get to meet new people too.
(5) Staff/Instructors/Counsellors
The staff are great. They’re funny, smart and super helpful. They’re always helping everyone and making sure we’re okay and having a good time. The instructors are really good at what they do so I learn a lot every session. They give me a lot of freedom to explore the things I want to know more about.
(5) Advice and tips
There are lots of classes, lots of things you can take part in, and lots of things to do. All the materials you need are available, so you’ll be all set. And, the people are really cool. So, just go wild! You won’t regret it and it might be the best time of your life!
