Prep for Rep with Dan Dearing

The Prep for Rep Camp is one of EVP's premier training opportunities and a proven favourite that sells out every year, so registering early is highly recommended! This high-performance camp is designed for current Rep athletes and players preparing for Rep tryouts this Fall who want to take their training to the next level.

Led by EVP Vice President and former Team Canada Olympian, Dan Dearing, the camp models a true Rep-style training environment, challenging athletes to train with purpose, intensity, and accountability.

Players will be pushed to:

  • Word hard and train with focus
  • Be coachable and detail-oriented
  • Lead by example and compete with confidence
  • Communicate and function effectively as a group

Training will emphasize strong fundamentals, advanced technique, and high-level gameplay, all delivered at a pace and standard expected of Rep athletes. Players will experience realistic Rep drills, competitive situations, and structured gameplay designed to prepare them for both the Rep season and tryouts.

Beyond the on-court training, Prep for Rep offers athletes a valuable opportunity to train directly with EVP leadership and coaching staff. Players will be seen, coached, and evaluated in a setting that aligns with the EVP Eagles Rep program's expectations. This camp is the perfect bridge between off-season training and Rep tryouts, providing athletes with elite coaching, high-level reps, and a clear understanding of what it takes to compete at the Rep level.

  • Physicality: Volleyball is excellent for overall physical growth, activating the entire body with dynamic, explosive movements. Players will build strength, speed, and unlock abilities they never knew they had!
  • Resilience: Volleyball takes time to master, but resilience is key to success. One of the biggest strengths in the sport is the ability to learn and adapt. We emphasize patience and effort, helping young athletes develop skills through persistence and dedication.
