SPIKES® House Leagues are run by OVA Clubs and community groups throughout Ontario and are offered at a low cost per participant. Many beginners enroll in a SPIKES® program to make new friends, learn the basics of volleyball, and further their skills to prepare for a competitive volleyball future. This coed program runs for 1 hour every week for approximately 8-10 weeks (depending on the season) and is great for players new to volleyball!

Character Development: This program helps build the following traits

Physicality: Volleyball is excellent for overall physical growth, activating the entire body with dynamic, explosive movements. Players will build strength, speed, and unlock abilities they never knew they had!
Resilience: Volleyball takes time to master, but resilience is key to success. One of the biggest strengths in the sport is the ability to learn and adapt. We emphasize patience and effort, helping young athletes develop skills through persistence and dedication.
