Some quick ideas to make paying for camp just a bit easier

Do it yourself fundraising is an easy way to raise a few dollars or even a few hundred dollars to help pay for camp. Consider the following:

Encourage children to do odd jobs in your neighbourhood, such as shovelling snow or mowing lawns.
There’s no better excuse to clean out that basement, attic or old toy box than a yard sale.
For a twist on the lemonade stand, sell hot apple cider in winter.
A backyard carnival offers a plethora of opportunities. A ring-toss game, bobbing for apples, a peel-and-stick tattoo parlour, hole-in-one mini-golf. Your imagination is the limit.
Stage a play and charge admission. Sell popcorn and drinks.
Organize a backyard art show and sell paintings or crafts.
Capitalize on those music lessons. There’s nothing better than a concert under the stars.
